After 12months of working side by side with leading Australian business directory Local.com.au, Rapid Growth Group (RGG), led by Jacob Gough, has taken a majority position in the business.

Local.com.au was founded in 1999 and has been growing consistently since its launch. Though the business is performing well, the decision was made by RGG to take a majority position in order to help it grow more“rapidly.”

Ron Brewster, who began the company with the aim of providing a comprehensive, user-friendly business directory to the general public, feels this move was the next logical step towards Local.com.au’s large ambitions.

“When I was introduced to Jacob Gough and his RGG team, I knew almost immediately that we’d found the perfect solution to take our business to the next level,” says Ron.

“Now that I’ve had the chance to witness how they operate over the past 12months, I am confident that what I launched over 15years ago is in safe hands and will be more than adequately equipped to compete with organisations owned by the major media companies.”

Jacob Gough, whose flair for innovation and passion for the business to business industry naturally lead him to companies such as this one, could not be more thrilled with his increasing involvement with Local.com.au.

Since the partnership commenced, the Local.com.au website has had a makeover, two new revenue streams have been introduced to the business model, and a national sales force has been put in place. Local.com.au, with Rapid Growth Group and Jacob Gough as its new driving force, is now poised to be another Aussie overnight success story.
