Camping and Traveling in RVs makes it easier to minimize contact with others thus minimizing the spread of germs or the virus. RV camping is the safest outdoor activity these days.

Bridgeport, Connecticut- November 18th, 2020, – Do you want to hear the bad news first or the good news? Let’s start with the bad news first to make things clear. This year is been difficult and even horrible for many of us. It’s been a year since the strange pandemic started in china. We never thought that this pandemic would reach us but it did and hit us hard.
Unemployment is on the peak, resources are scarce, and the country is cracking with division, death is still claiming the lives of elderly/the young/entire families. People aren’t wearing masks and young people just cannot find it easy to maintain social distance. In short we all know the beginning of the story, but we don’t know the ending yet. When will its over!
“Americans love the freedom of the outdoors, the enrichment that comes with living an active outdoor lifestyle, and the ability to go where you want, when you want.”

Monika Geraci, RV Industry Association

But there is good news too! Campgrounds are still open and with a lot of luck and People are traveling. Campfires are blazing and meat is roasting. Families are reuniting together around those campfires with masks but with maintaining social distance. RV items and even RV toilet paper are available, just not necessarily the brand you always wanted.
During this pandemic, People have found a new way to give and support others: The 7 p.m. nightly applause for health care workers in New York. Kids are selling personal belongings to donate money. The crane operator that lifts a daughter to see her mother(health line worker) through a window at a nursing home. Whole families sewing face masks to donate. The newlyweds cancelled their receptions and donated their money to a shelter. There are countless people giving in small and big ways to support the people and the frontline workers.
It is a new world. It may never go back to the way it was before. God forbids, if I had to wrestle with the very possibility of death from this virus, I will. This pandemic has made us realize we have to consider what is important, what matters, who matters. With each day passing safely, we have to show gratitude.
