While covid-19 is still on the move to catch us, you can still enjoy New Year’s Eve this year by following the SOPs and maintaining social distancing.

Body
Bridgeport, Connecticut- December 18th, 2020, – When it comes to celebrating the new year’s eve, your party will vary a lot depending on your circumstances. Some people want to bang in the New Year with a big, boozy bash, while others want a softer/calmer experience — or one that’s more suitable for children.
No matter what you want to do on New Year’s Eve, though, there are a huge number of events to choose from across the states, many of which offer family-friendly, daytime activities that’ll have you safely home before the actual party starts. And for those young ones, who are looking to get a little wild in anticipation of 2021, don’t worry, we have a list of events covered on this list, for you!
Alert: These events might not occur amid covid-19 this year, so confirm in advance before you head out.
America’s Party — Las Vegas, Nevada
The fireworks are set to music and are launched from the rooftops of not one or two, but seven iconic Vegas hotels, so it's no surprise they call it the Shindig America's Party. And before you stop at the strip to watch the show, don't miss a stop at the Fremont Street Experience. It's always a good time, but on New Year's Eve, they throw a grand party with four scenes, 12 bands, and 'roaming artists' for you to have a good time.
Bayfront Park’s New Year’s Eve — Miami, Florida
When an event declares itself "the biggest dance party in Miami," you know it's no joke. After all, Magic City is one of the most popular places in the United States. Combined with a world-class DJ roster and dance entertainment, the event stays true to its Florida roots with a countdown to midnight that features not a glowing ball, but a giant orange. (What's Next?) Best of all, the blisteringly hot New Years Eve Festival features completely free admission. Of course, you'll likely spend some money on a drink or three, let alone parking. It's Miami!
First Night — Boston, Massachusetts
Although many people still use it as an excuse to be wild, First Night also offers a wide range of entertainment suitable for families with children, such as ice sculptures, light displays and puppet theater theaters. It's more like a one-day art festival, which also falls on the last day (and first night) of the year.
Even cooler: all events and features are fully funded by donations from surrounding communities, which means you can participate in the excitement for free. And when the official year 2021, you will wake up and find yourself in one of the most amazing and historically most relevant cities in America, ready to do even more!
New Year’s Eve at Times Square — New York, New York
Celebrating New Year's Eve in Times Square is an iconic experience, but it's definitely a rehearsal. Many of the people you see happily kissing and frolicking in sub-freezing temperatures at midnight have been waiting there since noon or earlier to get the best possible spot. One way to avoid this scenario: get a luxurious hotel room right on the square, where they close the standing area especially for guests. But don't expect these rooms to come cheap and at this point you'll probably get a booking for next year's event.
Waikiki Beach New Year’s Eve Bash — Oahu, Hawaii
Oahu, is both the state capital of Honolulu and has the world-famous Waikiki Beach, and is the best destination to celebrate the New Year with a bang. Every year, a large demonstration of pyrotechnics lights up from a large boat right on the beach, starting five minutes before midnight, and one firework sounds every minute. Then, when the big moment comes, they pull out all the stops and set off the whole pile at once. The display is timed with music and at best the traffic is free and open to the public.
Many resorts and hotels along the nation's most famous paradise also have their own celebrations, so be sure to consult with anyone you use to stay. And even if you certainly don't drive an RV to Hawaii from the mainland, that doesn't mean it's impossible to enjoy Hawaiian New Year's Eve from the comfort of your camper! There is a wide range of public and private campsites on Oahu, and you can easily arrive and rent your equipment upon arrival.
