The CTO of Seasia Infotech, Mr. Ganesh Verma, was recently invited as a panel member at the Economic Times digital roundtable podcast. The theme of the discussion was "Transforming Organizational Security." The prestigious panel members of CIO, Group CIO, CISO, and Country Head joined and offered their invaluable knowledge. The meet was powered by Microsoft. 

Mr. Ganesh Verma has extensive knowledge of organizational security, and the platform provided by Economic Times was a perfect opportunity for the attendees to share their knowledge and gain mutual learnings along with newer insights.  

The attendees hovered over the realities of the cyber world and highlighted the problems and the reluctance of organizations to embrace the cloud model due to the rising cyber threats. These threats have become an issue; even the most sophisticated of organizations have faced malicious attacks from time to time. 

Security Transformation Can Change the Game 

The aim of the podcast was to know about risk management and security governance techniques that organizations can embrace to mitigate the risks. Experts professed that security must be a part of the digital transformation journey and should never be compromised and that the data protection policies should be revisited from time to time, said one of the panel members. 

Mr. Verma's Insightful Talk 

Mr. Ganesh Verma shared that when it comes to an on-premise solution, traditional and modern approaches are quite different from each other. He also shared his hands-on knowledge of the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework. He further stressed that no matter what industry, there is a need to shift to the cloud. 

Mr. Verma shared that the pandemic played an important role in encouraging organizations to embrace the cloud. He further stated that even though there are risks associated with the cloud, organizations are working hard to figure out ways of data protection. 

Sharing how he is ensuring data security and protection, Mr. Verma said that Seasia Infotech has been utilizing the power of AI and data science and predictive models that help in predicting the incidents even before they take place. Mr. Verma is big on giving new strategies timely to show results; as he said, "Another mess is when we don't keep patience for the expected results/outcomes."
