Suggestions in Handling Sliske Issue in RS and RS official’s Attitudes towards It

Have you every played the final quest in Sliske’s countdown? Many players have complained about it. And it is recommended that players should personally fight, defeat and kill Sliske. Here a brief analysis about it and Jagex’s attitudes are given.

What is wrong with the final quest in Sliske’s countdown?
In the Mahjarrat Mysteries Quest Line, all the times when players face off against Lucien and his plans, they never actually get to fight with him. He may have been powerful, but it would have been an awesome boss battle.
After all of the twists and turns, plots, and schemes with Sliske since he kills Guthix, it would be annoying that players cannot get to end him personally.

There needs to be an epic battle with Sliske and players?
Sliske has been the main antagonist of the player since the start of the sixth age. Many players have claimed that for the sake of a fulfilling ending to a great storyline, there needs to have an epic battle with him and he needs to take a Dirt Nap.
However this suggestion has aroused a heat debate among players. Some players disagree with it.
Firstly defeating Sliske would be really satisfying. But one of the major themes of the sixth age is being able to choose. Not continuing with the theme into one of the final quests just doesn’t make much sense.
Also players may not be strong enough to beat Sliske. According to the tiers Jagex releases, Sliske has clearly grown to be one of the most powerful mahjarrat in the game and he is more powerful than Azzanadra. Without that much power, plot armor, and skill, players have few chances to defeat Sliske.

What is Jagex’s attitude towards this issue?
Jagex has stated on the RS reddit that the hardmode fight could be a completionist req, but the standard fight could be a quest cape req. There could even be additional hardmode rewards.
Also players can even get extra tidbits of story by killing the hardmode boss. If the official was to add this in, it would have it presented in a different fashion.
Besides, the official could create new mechanics for it potentially. This is more just a question of whether having a "hardmode" would be worthwhile, rather than exactly what that would entail.
In addition, it would be better to let the player choose the difficult of the fight as they reach it? Perhaps hardmode should be default, but with an option to tone it down after x tries and allow them to finish the story with the option of trying again later. It would more be hardmode as default and then the option to downgrade it becoming available after x number of deaths.
