Phil Lovin is an animal activist who has been advocating for animals’ rights from the past several years. He has often expressed concern over the fact that there is a huge number of businesses out there which are involved in inhuman practices against animals. The conditions to which several livestock animals are subjected by them are extremely terrifying. Phil is involved with many animal charities as well as rescue organizations that work towards protecting these animals from cruelty and suffering. Despite consistent efforts by animal activists like him, he feels that when it comes to protecting animals rights, we still have a long way to go.
As an animal advocate, Phil Lovin fights for the following five freedoms of animals and encourages others to do the same:
1. Freedom from hunger and thirst (food and water)
2. Freedom from discomfort (shelter)
3. Freedom to express normal behavior (exercise)
4. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease (medical care)
5. Freedom from fear and distress (love, compassion, and understanding)
