This auspicious day for the children of India is the Children’s Day, which is celebrated on the 14th of November every year on the birth anniversary of India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Pandit Nehru was a great thinker, an unbelievable statesman and above all a generous and kind human being who loved spending time with children and presented them with unending love and care. The massive love that Pandit Nehru received from the youth and the children earned him the name of “Chacha Nehru” by which the children used to call and know him.
