Smarty Fox Scannable Board Games™ brings together the concept of traditional board games with smartphone applications through the use of QR technology.

These board games can be printed out from the comfort of your own home making them a low cost, fun and educational way to spend quality time with family and friends. Subsequent updates to Smarty Fox apps, can transform game play and create a whole new user experience using the same board.

Sherlock Junior ™, Smarty Safari and Pirate Island are the three games that are part of the initial Smarty Fox release. Scanning codes within these games introduces interactive elements and fun audio and animation, uplifting the gaming experience to a whole new level. Smarty games cater to players of all ages. In-fact Sherlock Junior even offers a unique multi-age player feature so that families or groups with a range of ages can play a fair game together by increasing or decreasing the difficulty level of the game based on user age.

The group, a division of Hyveminds, intends to release a new game each week over the next two months and is excited about the feedback provided by their young beta testers so far.

The next series of releases will incorporate non-linear game paths allowing for movie like gaming experiences, where user decisions change the outcomes. The Smarty Fox team can't wait to release the second series, which will be available on iOS, Windows 8, and Android.
