Creates and Implements Cutting Edge “Paperless Veteran” Technology to Serve 800,000 Veterans and Dependents

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Seattle, WA (August 29, 2015) - More than 800,000 military veterans and their dependents can now receive dramatically improved customer service in North Carolina because of cutting-edge technology developed and implemented by veteran transition technology experts at Operation Military Family (OMF). OMF configured, customized and implemented a suite of interactive tools and workflow automation including Veteran-centric modules while integrating state and federal data sources and a new ‘one stop shop’ call center with the SalesForce.com customer relations management (CRM) tool for the North Carolina Division of Veteran Affairs (NCDVA). This unique platform has allowed NCDVA to be more responsive, effective and, according to North Carolina Director of Veterans Affairs Ilario Pantano, “twice as productive.”

For the past year, Operation Military Family’s Transition Technology Services (TTS) division has partnered with the NCDVA to help transform its manual, paper-based veteran care processes into a first-of-its kind, all digital system to track veteran cases and referrals to non-profits and state agencies in a more accountable, effective and cost-saving manner.

“I’m thrilled that our veteran-centric technological capabilities and expertise in the transition area for Veterans has been uniquely applied using the Salesforce platform for NCDVA”, says Mike Schindler, CEO Operation Military Family and its Transition Technology Division. “It is an honor to see our technology playing such an integral role in improving veteran services in North Carolina, and we’re grateful to the NCDVA for their dedication and leadership in this area.”

“Operation Military Family’s unique abilities with their Transition Technology Service division in partnership with our talented team in North Carolina have molded Salesforce.com into a platform that will take us to the next generation in Veteran service and case management. The transparency, visibility and effectiveness state-wide will be unprecedented as North Carolina is the first state to create a paperless Veteran service care system,” says Ilario Pantano, Director of North Carolina’s Division of Veteran Affairs. “We could not have done this as fast or efficiently without the OMF Transition Technology Service team.”
