Josie Best has her efforts recognized as she has got a nomination in the prestigious Processed Woman Awards that are given every year to successful women.

Wilson, NC (June 12, 2015) - Pastor Josie Best is a renowned and dedicated pastor, teacher, preacher, entrepreneur and psalmist. She is the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belhaven, NC. Pastor Best made history by being the first female pastor of this 100+ year old church. Pastor Best travels extensively throughout the United States proclaiming the word of God.

Further, she graduated from Pitt Community College with a degree in Human Serviceand Bachelor of Administration (BA) in Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in Greenville, NC. Her goals are to plant churches and train leaders for the 21st century church. God has allowed Pastor Best to be featured on local radio stations where she shared the good news of Jesus and Christ and what HE is doing in her life. Pastor Best is actively involved with nursing home ministries, mentoring young ladies, and making periodically visits to the elderly.

God blessed Pastor Best to record her first CD called “Standing Tall” in 2013 and her first single music video January 2014.

The 2015 TPW Awards will be held June 26-27, 2015, in Greenville, North Carolina at the Greenville Convention Center, at the 2015 "FRESH FIRE" Empowerment Conference.
