FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wilson, NC (June 12, 2015) - Apostle Blondell Biggs Davis has been aptly nominated for “Outstanding Leadership” for the Processed Woman Awards. Her whole life has been a perfect example of sincere dedication, sacrifice, endurance, love and compassion. She is a Woman of God who leads with love, mercy, grace and compassion. She is known to many as simply “Ma” and this is the essence of her heart towards Gods people. Her journey began in Plymouth, a small town in Eastern North Carolina where she was birth to Herbert and Blonnie Davenport. She was blessed to be a “Davenport“, to be determined, steadfast and unmovable in the things of the Lord and of Life as instilled by her late grandfather, Bishop Leo B. Davenport.

Apostle Blondell followed her inner desire to nurture by pursuing a career in Early Childhood and Business Management during her studies at A&T University, Elizabeth City State University and Martin Community College. This prepared her to work in the public school system and many childcare facilities before opening Little Angels Day Care which blessed many children to grow and spread their wings. This paved the way to work with many childcare facilities. Further, this experience gave her the confidence to open her own center called Little Angels Day Care. She served the society via this day care center. Along with this she also worked with North Carolina Emergency Management to assist and support the families.

In December of 1992, she began the beautiful journey of serving Jesus Christ and shortly thereafter acknowledged the call to ministry. She worked diligently in the kingdom of God as Christ continued to guide her, the obvious call to Pastor was accepted in April, 2000 when she founded Finding My Way Fellowship Center in Plymouth, NC. Along with this work other outreach ministries were done with families in surrounding counties in eastern North Carolina. In 2009, the ministry was moved to a facility in Williamston, NC. She has trained, licensed and ordained many ministers and leaders in the body of Christ, many of which continue to serve with her or in accordance to covenant with her in doing the will of God.

During the fifteen years of overseeing and nurturing the people of God, Pastor Blondell, walked in obedience to the call of God and became affirmed in the office of Apostle.Though the Apostle has endured a lot of suffering and pain in her life still shecontinues to lead her life with infinite courage and determinationas she is blessed by Jesus Christ. She abides in the scripture that states, “except the Lord build a house, the workman labor in vain”.
