BETHESDA, Md. – Continuing a long history of protecting buildings housing federal government agencies, Harvey-Cleary Builders of Houston, Texas have retained Commercial Window Shield to install fragment retention window film on a pair on National Institute of Health buildings in suburban Washington, D.C.

The project involves installing 7-mil clear security film as daylight application on all of the windows of the twin 10-story buildings, known as Rockledge 1 & 2. In total, Commercial Window Shield will install 75,338 sq. ft of shatter resistant film on 2,890 window panes.

Harvey-Cleary is in the midst of a complete renovation of both buildings. In the meantime, NIH employees have been moved to other locations.

In total, Commercial Window Shield installed more than 20,000 sq. ft. of privacy film to complete that project.

Phase 2, security window film installation, will begin in September.
