In 2008, Rikin Patel began his education in this field. He enrolled at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and began studying to be a pharmacist. He also began developing experience in this field as well. Before he became a student, he had already worked as a pharmacy technician for a year. He enjoyed being in a pharmacy and working with patients. After he became a student, he worked hard to develop his knowledge and he gained even more experience.

In 2008, Patel began his introductory pharmacy practice experience. He worked with a Rite Aid pharmacy in Philadelphia and his responsibilities included assisting patients, preparing and dispensing medications, counseling patients on side effects, preparing flu clinics, and reconstituting medications for patients. All of his task were supervised by a pharmacist and he was able to learn and grow.

In 2011, he began his advanced pharmacy practice experience. He worked with a Target pharmacy in Plymouth Meeting for a year. He processed and filled medication orders and he called doctors for certain authorizations. He also provided patients with information on prescription medications as well as over the counter medications. He also mixed, reconciled, and compounded prescription medications for patients. He gained important experience and went on to earn his degree in 2012.

Rikin Patel Whitehall became a qualified and licensed pharmacist in 2012. While he was a student he studied business as well, and opened his own pharmacy. He worked hard to gain the skills he needed to run and operate a pharmacy in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Rikin Patel is a dedicated and hardworking pharmacist who spent years studying and working in this field.
