Richard M. Trask (a.k.a. Rich, Richie, Dickie) is a renowned author, playwright, and scholar. He is a medievalist by education and vocation, and his book Beowulf and Judith: Two Heroes evokes life in two crustily ancient Old English epics. And he is a writer by profession, thus The Complete Writer’s Guide: Questions of Language, a humanly funny book about that serious subject; also, three staged plays and a screenplay. Reading his books is good for you because it enhances your focus, memory, compassion, and communication skills. It can lessen stress, boost your mental health, and help you live longer. Reading also authorizes you to find new things to help you thrive in your work and relationships. He knows how to express different emotions via his words. He has a Ph.D. in medieval studies (Old and Middle English language and literature) from the University of Illinois. He is Emeritus Professor of English, University System of Maryland. His work is the reflection of perfection. His numerous scholarly articles and professional-conference presentations comprise: “The Descent into Hell of The Exeter Book”; “Doomsday Imagery in the Old English Exodus”; “The Manciple’s Problem”; “Sir Gawain’s Unhappy Fault”; “Old Bottles, New Wine: The Re-Creation of Old English Poetry” and more.

If you are science geek, then it is advised to read “Cosmosis of Worlds” by Richard M. Trask. It is about an idea that is established on and sustained by quantum theory and cutting-edge cosmology. It consists of a logical and efficient extension of established science. It is incredible, intelligent sci-fi at a high level. It is developed in an everyday context, with comprehensive exposition, it throws light on seemingly insoluble questions such as Why are we alive at this moment in the run of the Universe? It includes two co-equal protagonists: a young woman and a man, with a sense of humor. It also shows young love. Also, don’t forget to read Grendel.

Richard M. Trask does not get enough of studying the sciences. He also enjoys writing, playing sports such as tennis, cycling/jogging). He also enjoys singing and acting. He has played and sung community theater roles such as creepy Bill Sikes in “Oliver,” the Pirate King in “Pirates of Penzance,” the Pirate King’s Lieutenant Samuel in another “Pirates Penzance,” the leading Sergeant of Police in that second “Pirates of Penzance. Other roles that are performed by him include a singing Secretary of the Interior in “Annie” (plus being Hobo No. 2 and an onstage ‘Sound and Effects Man’ in “Annie”!). He lives in Southport, North Carolina, with his wife (Karen); also, their dog (Woofie), and their cat (Zoomer). He believes that dogs and cats can make your mood better and raises your spirits. His books also help you explore things related to childhood.
