August 8, 2022: Almost 70% of households in the US have pets. 60.2 million people own dogs. Out of this, only 37% of pet owners travel with their pets. This number has gone up from 19% in ten years. For many pet owners, traveling with pets like dogs is difficult, if not completely impossible.

As more and more people are now adopting pets, they have become open to the idea of traveling with pets. Jasper: The Wonder Dog, written by the author Richard Halliday, presents the life of a little pup. Jasper was rescued by Richard and his wife Sherill when he was only one year old. Jasper traveled with Richard everywhere, and in the book, Richard talks about how much Jasper enjoyed traveling.
