COVID-19 Update for RGIT Australia Students and Agents

Posted April 22, 2020 by rgithobart

The global pandemic Coronavirus has put the world in a state of frenzy. Many major updates were announced for the students of RGIT Australia.

Though the government lockdown wasn't announced, RGIT Australia is trying its best to curb the spread by taking all the necessary steps. The trainers and teachers started working remotely from last month. In addition to this, many other measures were taken to stop the spread.

Virtual Classes
RGIT Australia's VET students will be taking online classroom with their trainers using the Zoom platform. The VET students will receive the link to join the online training from their trainers.

In case of any exceptions, including any kind of postponements, the students would be notified by their course coordinator directly.

ELICOS Students
The ELICOS or General English Students have been given holidays and a further update on this shall be provided shortly.

Support for Students and Stakeholders
Both the campuses Australia Melbourne and Hobart are temporarily unavailable and the staff of RGIT is working remotely. Along with the trainers delivering Virtual classes, our student support and administration staff will also continue to work remotely to support our students and stakeholders during this difficult time. We also provide support and welfare services and student counselling during this time.
