Matthew Trim started his professional journey back in 1998 as a Retail Operations Manager for Trims Retail, Adelaide, SA. Trim Clothing was a group of 4 retail clothing stores across South Australia employing more than 100 employees. As a Retail Operations Manager, he was responsible for operations management, policies and procedures, cost maintenance, sales, IT marketing, management reporting and HR across all retail stores. His major achievement in the company was playing a lead role in the execution of commercial management strategies which drove growth within the group beyond $15m per annum achieved through focusing on modernisation and continual process improvements.

After working with Trims Retail for about five years, Matthew founded ‘Hospitality Group’ that encompassed restaurants, bars and pubs across the North Adelaide and Norwood region.
