One of Adelaide’s top commercial real estate agents, Matthew Trim started his career back in 1998 with Trims Retail as a Retail Operations Manager. Trim Clothing was a group of 4 retail clothing stores across South Australia employing more than 100 employees. Matthew, as a Retail Operations Manager was responsible for operations management, cost maintenance, policies and procedures, sales, IT marketing, management reporting and HR across all retail stores.

One of Matthew Trim’s key achievements in Trims Retail was successfully executing commercial management strategies which led to the growth of over $15m per annum within the group. He achieved this by focusing on key factors like modernization and continual process improvements. He also implemented a risk managed scalable and price effective market strategy that increased sales by more than 50%, initiated the opening of a new satellite store, and supported individual store managers to achieve KPIs and budgets.

After working with Trims Retail for almost five years, Matthew, in 2003, founded a Hospitality group that encompassed restaurants, bars and pubs across the North Adelaide and Norwood region employing approximately 70 employees.
