New Jersey, NJ – October 17, 2018 – Center for Network Therapy (CNT) is a renowned rehabilitation and ambulatory outpatient detoxification facility for people with addiction issues. The New Jersey-based institution is licensed to assist those with addiction issues to recover from their substance disorders and resume their healthy and productive lives in the community. CNT has a team of professionals who are tolerant and respectful towards their clients. They are devoted to ensuring that all their clients receive a full continuum of care as they guide them. The institute specializes in partial care, intensive outpatient programs and addressing other co-occurring behavioral issues. They use innovative, and evidence-based models help to enhance every client's successful recovery.

Speaking about the benefits of ambulatory detox, Dr. Cidambi said, “Our ambulatory detox addresses alcohol withdrawal, benzodiazepine withdrawal as well as opiate (heroin, pain pills) withdrawal. At CNT, we use the same medications (Valium, Librium, suboxone) and protocols that are proven or use in an inpatient setting. All our detox-related medications are provided to the patients for free. Our ASAM board-certified physicians and nurses will monitor the patients' progress throughout the day and titrate medication. We offer 8 hours of structured treatment including individual/group therapy and self-help groups. For clients who are still struggling, our therapists will work with them individually to help them recover well."

The Center for Network Therapy has suboxone doctors in NJ who provide suboxone treatment to patients with opiate dependency. Suboxone contains naloxone and buprenorphine and is used when addressing withdrawal symptoms from opiate during the detoxification phase of a patient’s treatment. After completion of detoxification, suboxone is then used in the maintenance and stabilization phases of treatment to address the cravings for opiates and prevent relapse. Because it has naloxone, suboxone cannot be abused. Individuals want to come off the use of suboxone after the maintenance treatment phase to lead a drug-free life. People who stop using suboxone may have acute psychological symptoms. They are entered into a detoxification program.

Speaking about police and addiction, one of the Physicians said, “Addiction among police officers is a serious problem that is widespread in the US. This is attributed to repeated exposure to life-threatening situations, high stress and long hours of work and insular culture. These factors turn them toward drugs or alcohol in order to relax and cope. They can recover fast if treatment integrates their living environment. We understand the nature of their job is to engage in people's crises such as domestic violence, fights, shootings, fatal car accidents and bloody crime scenes that put their life at risk. They also have easy access to illegal drugs that they confiscate from drug dealers. Treatment can be administered well if their work environment, stressors, and inhibitions are very well known."

CNT offers treatment of addiction in women who slipped into addiction unknowingly. The center has been treating women with addiction for more than a decade and discovered various factors that cause addiction in women. Some of the causes include childhood sexual abuse, access to addictive medication, stress that is triggered by family responsibility as well as body image management and peer pressure. The center understands how hard it is for women to come forward for treatment. Under the leadership of Dr. Cidambi, CNT encourages women to seek treatment and focuses the ambulatory detox program on the women's needs. They do this by involving the woman's family in the patient's treatment, building flexibility into the ambulatory detoxification program and more.
