There is a myth in medical science that a primary care physician is same as a general practitioner. There might be similarities in their work but there is a broad line separating the two concepts.

This means they have received a certain level of specialized training during their internship period. As an expert, they are even called by other doctors for more complicated conditions in their specialized areas, he added.

While a GP can cure your regular ailments, a primary doctor could be the master shaman for your condition. The fact that they are experts even draw people to consider them over general practitioners. The variety of diagnostics tools and treatment options are always evolving in a Primary physician’s clinic.
