Omaha, NE: TransWood, a privately-owned trucking company specializing in liquid and dry bulk transportation,
announces the purchase of Kane Transport. Kane is a 150 plus truck, bulk carrier based in Minnesota; hauling
petroleum products, construction, and agricultural related commodities in the upper Midwest. This addition
increases TransWood’s service area, and broadens its portfolio of transportation solutions, while adding 6
additional locations to TransWood’s existing network of 35 locations across the country.

Kane’s day to day operations will continue with the Kane family and current management team in place. Pete

plans will include integrating TransWood’s technology and operations experience to enhance Kane’s ability to service their customers.
