Hussina Jacqueline Paktiawal is an experienced professional who combines a high level of knowledge of all database systems and integration/analysis of initiatives in areas, such as materials management, procurement services, and quarterly/year-end reporting. She started her career as an International Sales Agent with American Airlines, Cary, NC in April 1999, and continued with the job till October 2001.

As an International Sales Agent for American Airlines, Hussina Paktiawal was responsible for managing client transactions, like reservations, ticketing, exchanges, and refunds. She presented product selection to the clients, and implemented all phases of the sales cycle – right from prospecting to close and follow-up support. Apart from efficiently handling these responsibilities, she also marketed promotions, and shared feedback with the management & marketing teams.

Later, she got the opportunity to work with noted companies, such as International Business Machines, RTP, NC; and Allstate Insurance Company, Raleigh, NC. Currently, she is working as an IT/Informatics Analyst at Duke University, Durham, NC. On November 2017, Hussina founded a non-profit corporation, Empowering Afghanistan through Education (EATE) in Raleigh, NC with the aim to promote primary education in Afghanistan.
