Torrijos will Host a Workshop on Export

14 students in the district may attend the employment workshop "COMEX", where they will learn how to export to other countries local products like wine or shoes. The deadline for registration ends on February 20.

 
Torrijos (Toledo), Spain, February 20, 2013 - The Association "Castles of Middle Tajo" the employment workshop taught by COMEX which aims to boost the internationalization of local companies. Through it, 14 students will be instructed in techniques to export products overseas region of Torrijos.

Mayor Torrijos, Juan Jose Gomez-Hidalgo attended the presentation of this workshop, which took place on Thursday afternoon at the headquarters of the association, in a ceremony led by President of "Castles in the Middle Tajo", José Eugenio Castle, accompanied by the manager of this group, Angel Naranjo and other mayors and councilors in the region as the lord of Escalonilla, Sonia Gomez, La Torre de Esteban Hambran, Emma Garcia and Councilman Fuensalida Welfare, Mercedes Fernandez.

Jose Eugenio del Castillo said that the main aim in this workshop is "to train 14 people to have more options rather than opting to be self-employed or employed by companies."

As recalled Angel Naranjo, there are many products in the region that can be exported either as wine or gastronomic textiles and footwear.

The course fee amounts to an amount of 155,000 euros, funded entirely by the Department of Employment of Castilla La Mancha. It will offer various subjects like English, Portuguese, trade or marketing.

The workshop is scheduled to begin to develop in the mid or late March and will run for six months, during which students are training will contract by which they will receive 1122 euros gross per month. Those interested, among other requirements, must be unemployed over 25 may register until 20 February at the headquarters of the association located in the municipality of Torrijos silo.

Between students and teachers, COMEX participate in a total of 20 citizens.
