The winner of IPL 13, IPL 15, IPL 17 and IPL 19 is captained by Rohit Sharma and is owned Nita Ambani the wife of Indian Bussinesman Mukesh Ambani. The home ground of the franchise is Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Till the 12th edition, 13 different teams had played in the IPL and 7 of them are playing since the 1st edition of the league.
