ANGUL: Students of O.P. Jindal School, DAV Savitri Jindal High-School, Prambha( a non-formal pre-school for the children of labors working in different plants) and Arambha ( the pre-school situated at Badamahitala R&R colony) rose to a rip roaring celebration to observe the 126th Birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru widely known as Children's Day at their respective school premises today. Amidst a vista of skills , talent and ebullience. The amalgamate with vibrancy and grandeur of the occasion was felt with the enthusiastic expression of a battery of cultural programmes. O.P. Jindal School also organized competitions like Talent Hunt, Funny Quiz, Speech and Fancy Dress for its students.
On his message Angul Location Head and Executive Director of the plant Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, greeted each and every child and said “Pundit Nehru, always consider child as a bud which will bloom in the other day to spread the fragrance of goodness, kindness and wellness to the society and make the nation proud.
Remembering the remarkable vision and contribution of the great architect of India, all the staff members and students paid floral tribute at the portraits of Pt. Nehru, fondly called as Chacha (Uncle) Nehru by children at their respective school premises.
To commemorate the celebration ever memorable DAV Savitri Jindal School is also going to organize an Exhibition among its school students Nov 16th 2015.
