India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan on Wednesday revealed some stories of his personal life and cricketing career during an Instagram live session. Pathan praised a lot of former Australia spinner Shane Warne and also called Yuvraj Singh the rockstar of Indian cricket as well.

Yusuf Pathan was a part of Rajasthan Royals teams in IPL, which won the IPL trophy in the inaugural edition under the leadership of Shane Warne. Pathan said that Shane Warne's on-field presence and leadership skills played an important role in the franchise's success in IPL 2008.

"I played for three years under Shane Warne in IPL. There are many memories with him. He used to guide us how to dismiss batsmen well before the game and we used to implement them and batsmen used to get out in a similar fashion," Yusuf Pathan said during a live session with CricTracker.

However, the elder Pathan brother also said that he was unfortunate that he couldn't play with Warne after the third IPL edition as he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the auction for the next edition.

"Unfortunately, I couldn't play for more than three years under him. Without any big players, he took our team to the final and won the title in the inaugural edition, there were many domestic players and less international stars during that time in RR. Only a captain like him can win the title with a few resources around," Yusuf Pathan expressed.

However, former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the greatest minds to play cricket and Yusuf Pathan referred to him as 'clever' when he was asked to define former India captain in one word. Apart from choosing former Australia all-round Shane Warne as one of his favourite captains in the IPL, Yusuf also termed former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh a 'rockstar' who played crucial roles for India in their 2011 World Cup win.
