Aviancawill allow a customer to cancel and get a full refund of a ticket without a penalty if the customer cancels within 24 hours of purchase made.

The customer with US billing address pays in US dollars if the reservation is made one week or more prior to scheduled flight departure to or from the USA.

Customer books the ticket from the Avianca US website, reservation system, ticket counters or Avianca offices.

In any other condition apart from what mentioned above if the fare rules of the purchased ticket allow a refund and/or if your booking included Avianca cancellation insurance that meets the relevant conditions. Please note different conditions are applied for different tickets.

For passengers who are willing to change their booking will be charged change fee and fare difference amount, this will depend upon the nature of the ticket originally purchased.

You will get the refund as follows:
For ticket purchased through credit card within 7 business days of receipt of full documentation warranting the requested refund

For ticket purchased through cash will get a full refund within 20 business days of receipt of full documentation warranting the requested refund

You are offered with the option to buy cancellation protection at the time of purchase of your ticket.

If a customer cannot make the intended journey the cancellation protection insurance ensures the repayment of a travel fare which has been paid to the Avianca

If the passenger needs to change travel plan after the commencement of the journey. Avianca will reimburse the relevant travel ticket or change fee but not the fare difference.
