Robert Rowels is proud to be celebrating his many achievements as a college student. Today, Robert Rowels lives in South Holland, Illinois. He enjoys living in Illinois with his friends and family, and he attributes much of his success to the things he learned while in college as a soldier.

At a young age, Robert Rowels decided to join the United States Army. He learned a great deal of things in the Army. He learned about what it means to serve your country, and what it means to be a part of something bigger than just himself. He also learned a lot of practical skills as well, that he takes with him today.

After traveling the world, serving his country with honor, and earning many impressive medals, Robert Rowels decided it was time to hang up the uniform. After serving in the Army from 1982 to 1988, Robert Rowels was honorably discharged. After leaving the Army, Robert Rowels decided to go to college.

He enrolled in the University of Illinois at Chicago. Once there, Robert Rowels began working hard to make sure that he learned everything he could about his chosen area of study. Robert Rowels decided to study about Criminal Justice in consideration of his background as a soldier in the U.S. Army.

Robert Rowels says, “From 1989 to 1993, I studied about Criminal Justice, and I learned a great deal of things.” After graduating from the University of Illinois, Robert Rowels left the school with a degree in Criminal Justice.

He enjoyed learning about the subject and made sure to use his time at school wisely. He studied hard and took detailed notes while in class. He also made sure to read all of his assignments. Additionally, he made sure not to procrastinate, which helped him to accomplish all of his academic goals.

A few years after earning his first degree, Robert Rowels decided to return to the university school system. He began attending the University of Devry. There, he continued to work just as hard as he did while earning his first degree. In 2003, Robert Rowels graduated with a degree in Informational Technology with a concentration in Networking.
