Robert Rowels is proud to be able to announce that he is a member of the International Masons. Today, Robert Rowels lives in South Holland, Illinois. He is a happy resident of Illinois as he is blessed to be surrounded by many friends and family members who he cares a great deal for. Robert Rowels is also blessed, as he has the distinct privilege of being able to say that he has been a member of many interesting, esteemed, and diverse groups in his life.

From 1982 to 1988, Robert Rowels was a soldier in the United States Army. While in the Army, Robert Rowels experienced a great deal of things. He has served his country with dedication, distinction, valor, and honor. He learned a lot about what it means to rely on a team and to serve one’s country.

He also learned many practical skills that he uses to this day. While serving, Robert Rowels earned many impressive medals that detailed his service to the United States. Serving with distinction earned him an Army Achievement Medal. Robert Rowels also received the Overseas Hazardous Duty Medal, while serving in Korea. Finally, Robert Rowels received the Good Conduct Medal. This was for serving in the Army for three years without a disciplinary punishment.

Robert Rowels says, “I am extremely proud of my accomplishments as a soldier for the U.S. Army. I will always be grateful for the experiences that I have thanks to my time as a soldier. I met so many amazing people from fellow soldiers to my superior officers. I am thankful that I took that path, as it helped me to realize the power of being a part of something that is bigger than me.”

Robert Rowels continues, “I believe that is why I have been a member of other groups since my time in the Army. I am the youngest member of the African American Democratic Caucus in Toledo, Ohio. And I am also proud to be a member of the International Masons.”

As a member of the International Masons, Robert Rowels is able to help the group in their many efforts. Their efforts include promoting better understanding and coordination, ensuring sound judgment, and more.
