Rebecca Mitalski is very active in her hometown of Shawnee, Kansas, proving that a person doesn't have to limit their support to a single organization or cause. Across a wide range of endeavors and opportunities Rebecca has stayed true to the causes she deems as worthy to be fought for.

One of these causes is the 40 Days For Life movement, which is the largest international pro-life mobilization in history. The goal of this movement is to convince mothers not to proceed with an abortion they have been planning on going through with, which is done through peaceful measures such as prayers, fasting, and a 40 day vigil in which supporters rally outside of a Planned Parenthood facility for 40 days. Rebecca supporters this movement because she says the focus is not pointing fingers, but instead is alleviating mothers and fathers of the pain associated with deciding on whether to have an abortion.

Rebecca Mitalski is an active supporter of the Ronald McDonald House. This charitable organization is involved in numerous operation including providing families with a hotel room nearby the hospital where their loved ones are admitted, donating millions of dollars a year to communities around the world to ensure their children have access to necessary health care, and awarding college scholarships to deserving candidates around the United States. Rebecca has chosen to support this organization because of their commitment to helping children, who she believes are among the most vulnerable to difficulties society and nature will throw at them.

Rebecca Mitalski is involved with many charitable organizations in Shawnee, making donations to a variety of agencies including hospitals, nursing homes, and animal shelters. She participates as a supporter for the Special Olympics in her hometown. Her other charitable efforts include being a supporter of causes such as the Epilepsy Foundation and the boys and girls scouts.
