Glen Worth Financial to Open Nonprofit Organization

Worth Financial, one of the top financial companies in North Carolina, will soon open a nonprofit organization geared toward financial literacy and mentoring.

 
In 2003, Glen Wright Worth Financial, one of the most well-known companies in Charlotte, NC. CEO Glen Wright of Worth Financial has a long history of financial prowess, beginning with his Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Memphis. Glen Wright also holds an Executive Management Certificate from Christian Brothers University, and his Christian faith has influenced the running of his company from the beginning.

Sy Pugh, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) is committed to using therapy to help clients understand and rehabilitate their financial histories and futures. Like Glen Wright of Worth Financial, he is also committed to teaching clients money management from a Christian perspective, zeroing in on the idea that “the pursuit of money is not a negative or evil activity.” Together, Sy Pugh and Glen Wright will soon open their own nonprofit organization.

The nonprofit will be known as the Financial Shepherd Foundation,Inc. based on Glen Wright and Sy Pugh’s book, The Financial Shepherd: Why Dollars + Change = Sense. The Financial Shepherd has been available since 2011 and covers such topics as financial mistakes, debt avoidance, and stewardship. The Financial Shepherd Foundation aims to present clients with these concepts face-to-face.

According to Glen Wright of Worth Financial, most average citizens struggle with the basics of financial planning and saving money. The Financial Shepherd Foundation will give these people practical and relatable financial advice to be used in everyday life. For example, a client might learn the best way to save for a child’s college career. He or she might learn how to turn financially-based trauma such as homelessness around so that the lessons learned there can be used to ensure financial abundance.

The Financial Shepherd Foundation will also offer biblically-based financial and other counseling. Sy Pugh and Glen Wright of Worth financial hope clients will be encouraged to analyze their financial histories and if needed, seek help in repairing relationships money has played a part in damaging. The Financial Shepherd Foundation’s activities will be interactive, focusing on both the wallet and the soul.
