Atika Ali has a passion for all types and forms of art, and she recently displayed some of her personal work at her first ever art gala. This was something completely new for her, but she enjoyed every minute of the night.

“One of my friends, who is involved in organizing community events, came to me and asked me if I would be interested in providing artwork for an event. I was immediately interested,” said Atika Ali. Little did she know she would be the focus of the event. “I didn’t realize my artwork was the gala!” said Atika Ali. She was flattered to find that so many people would come just to see her amateur art. But most of the people in attendance agreed that the artwork was not reflective of an amateur. A handful of people approached her to ask for her services in the future.

The gala contained a wide variety of artwork, something that is exemplary of Atika Ali’s personality. Atika Ali is a creative person who is hard to define in one word. She enjoys many different forms of art, including dance, drawing, painting, and photography. Much of the art Atika Ali had on display was photography though, as this is her latest passion. She impressed people with her beautifully raw images of nature and ability to capture things at such unique angles. “I was thoroughly impressed,” said one guest. Another guest went on to say, “I think Atika Ali has a bright future in photography if that is what she wants to pursue. I know people who would find her work very impressive.”

The evening kicked off with wine and cheese and a brief introduction, followed by the ability to mingle with guests and leisurely view the artwork. Atika Ali got the chance to catch up with old friends and meet a wide variety of new people. It was a great networking opportunity for Atika Ali if she chooses to pursue photography professionally.

“It was an all-around fantastic night, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to be a part of it,” said Atika Ali.
