Tower Loan careers offer a great way to advance in one of the largest privately owned consumer finance companies in the United States.

One of the most important Tower Loan Careers is the position of Branch Manager. Branch Managers begin as Manager Trainees and undergo extensive training, and if they successfully complete that training then they are promoted to Branch Manager.

"I started as a trainee with the company, and after thirteen years I'm an executive with the company and Director of Operations," says one team member. "The majority of our promotions come from within, and if you're willing to work hard, and are good at what you do, you can move up rapidly." He adds that one of the most enjoyable things about his job is the people he comes into contact with every day. "Not only the people I work with, but the customers I deal with on a daily basis."

The Manager Trainees, he says, begin with four days of Introductory training, after which they go to on-the-job training. This fast-paced part of the training has them doing the same functions are managers. They are trained in collecting loans, taking and processing loan applications, recruiting and training Tower Loan personnel, and developing customer and dealer relationships.

The on-the-job training, he continues, is supplemented by formal training that includes completion of the Company Training Manual. At the end of the training process, which can take up to a year to complete, successful Manager Trainees are promoted to managers and assigned to a branch office of their own.
Another important Tower Loan Careers is the Customer Service Representative, or CSR. The CSR is a versatile member of the Tower Loan team. Responsibilities include answering the telephone and greeting customers when they walk in the front door. Because of this, the CSR is in many ways the face of the company, since they are usually the first person that a customer has contact with in the office. The CSR receives and applies mail payments and counter payments to the customer's account; investigates credit, and processes loan applications. The CSR is also responsible for a cash drawer.

Tower Loan careers also include those with experience in the finance company business who are not working for Tower Loan. Tower Loan is always prepared to make room for such qualified individuals.
