Tom Forlander moved to the state of Florida because of his desire to go deep sea fishing and scuba diving. What started out as a hobby, quickly changed into a lifetime passion, and has never ceased to amaze Tom Forlander in these past 25 years.

Living in Florida has enabled him to search out and find the best spots to go scuba diving. Tom Forlander has always been an active individual and plays golf, tennis, and enjoys going deep sea fishing. He started scuba diving several years ago and still remembers taking scuba diving lessons. Using the scuba diving equipment for the first time seemed quite strange, but he took to it like a “fish takes to water”, and soon started diving along with his instructor.

Over the years, Tom Forlander has dived at several popular diving spots, but his favorite places are along the Florida coastline. Once he started diving and became proficient at it, he kept it up so that he could master his skills at diving. In the last 25 years, he has dived off several popular spots along the Florida coast and believes that each dive offers something new. The richness and beauty of marine life are something that cannot be fully appreciated with just a couple of dives but takes much more than that.

Being an active person, Tom Forlander plays tennis and golf to keep himself active and in shape. Tennis is a sport that requires speed, agility, and strength, and he enjoys playing the game with his wife. Some of his popular diving spots include the USS Oriskany, Crystal River Manatee Diving, and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The USS Oriskany is an aircraft carrier from the 1950s which was purposely sunk off the coast of Pensacola, Florida. Despite lying 212 feet below the surface of the water, it offers an amazing diving experience for experienced divers.
