Ted Harris of Albuquerque is proud to announce that he has been named to the Student Government Association of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. As a member, Ted Harris of Albuquerque will serve as the Vice President of Finances, where he will have the opportunity to help allocate funding appropriately. “I’m really excited to have the chance to serve in this capacity,” say Ted Harris of Albuquerque. “As an involved member of the student body, I know that I have a lot of perspective, experience, and understanding to offer as financial petitions and decisions are made.”

Indeed, throughout his years at Elmhurst College, Ted Harris of Albuquerque has been extremely involved on campus, giving him better insight as to how student life can be approved. This will allow Ted Harris of Albuquerque to make the best decisions possible as he serves as the Vice President of Finances and works to allocate money among the various student organizations. “It’s important not to show any biases,” says Ted Harris of Albuquerque, referring to the allocation of funds. “Because I’m involved across a spectrum of activities and have friends in nearly every niche, I believe I have a good sense of what the student body wants and needs.”

As a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Ted Harris of Albuquerque understands the importance of Greek Life and the contributions it makes to the greater student body and the student experience. But Ted Harris of Albuquerque also works as a student worker in the Office of Student Affairs, giving him a broad overview of other activities on campus. Furthermore, as a Business Major, Ted Harris of Albuquerque is highly involved in academic clubs and processes, giving him insight into academic groups and the needs of other organizations.

Aside from allocating funds, Ted Harris of Albuquerque intends to help update the Finance Bylaws to not only boost efficiency, but also eliminate loopholes and strengthen the principles of the Student Government Association. “Ultimately, it comes down to doing what you think is best for the entire student body,” says Ted Harris of Albuquerque, referring to what SGA members should do. Ted Harris of Albuquerque is majoring in Business with a minor in Psychology.
