Tampa, Florida physician, David C. Minton, has been dedicated to treating his patients for over 23-years. Along with treating his patients at the Women’s Care Florida clinic, David has been volunteering at a local free medical clinic in Tampa. The Judeo-Christian Health Care Center was started in 1972 to serve the needs of the uninsured residents of Tampa. David provides his services free of charge for those residents that are considered the working poor. These patients don’t qualify for government assistance but are unable to afford private healthcare or visits to the doctor. Along with hundreds of other volunteers, David provides the medical care these individuals need.
David C. Minton has been a partner physician in Tampa for the last 23-years. He is currently working at the Women’s Care Florida clinic, where he provides obstetrics and gynecological services for his patients. He has been honored several times for the outstanding and compassionate care he provides, including being recognized as a Top 10 Doctor, Tampa Bay Best Doctor, and being awarded the Compassionate Physician Award to name a few. David is a member of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association, Florida Medical Association and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is affiliated with the St. Joseph Hospital and Women’s Hospital and the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
David C. Minton spent his childhood in New Jersey. After a brief stay in the Northwest Chicago suburbs, David, and his family moved back to New Jersey where he would attend high school. In 1980, he graduated second in his class from James Caldwell High School and was accepted to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, RPI. While at RPI, David studied Chemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1984. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, David went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and has been a partner physician for the last 23-years, 17 of which have been spent at the Women’s Care Florida. David has been married for 23-years and has three children.
