Stephanie Chappell Disbrow is one of the most successful talent acquisition specialists in North Carolina. Originally from Clarksville, Virginia, she moved to Greenville, North Carolina to attend college at East Carolina University. She completed her Bachelors of Science in business administration, and then moved to the Raleigh-Durham area to begin her career in talent acquisition.
Disbrow started her career with Teksystems. While with the company, Stephanie Chappell Disbrow conducted interviews and hired the Information Technology Department. Her work gained her recognition from Teksystems, who named her one of their top ten recruiters on the East Coast. From there, she transitioned into the healthcare field, working for Sterling Healthcare. During her time there, she hired more than 200 emergency room physicians and physicians’ assistants.
She then moved to InVentiv Health, where she worked for over a decade as a pharmaceutical talent recruiter. She received many company awards during her time at InVentiv, including top 10% revenue and Recruiter of the Decade. Since leaving InVentiv, she has continued to work in the field of talent acquisition in the South. She is certified as both a Talent Acquisition Specialist and a Diversity Recruiter.
Outside of work, Disbrow is a mother and loves spending time with her kids. She volunteers at her children’s school in her free time, and is very community-oriented. She also loves to travel and take family vacations. In the future, Disbrow hopes to continue to maintain a positive work-life balance, stay successful in her career, and enjoy time with her family and friends.
