Sarabeth Parent is proud to announce that she fully appreciates everything that the University of New Hampshire has to offer. The school is located in Durham, New Hampshire, and is home to students such as Sarabeth Parent, and many more. Sarabeth Parent is grateful to be able to go to such a wonderful school, and she works hard in order to take advantage of everything the university has to offer.

Sarabeth Parent has been attending the school for nearly two years now. She has grown to appreciate the many different facilities and resources that the school offers to its students. Sarabeth Parent had several options to consider when choosing a college. She did a great deal of research in order to determine which school would be the right choice for her.

Sarabeth Parent says, “I spent a lot of time pondering which university I wanted to spend the next few years of my life in. I knew that I had to make the right choice, as I take my education extremely seriously. I learned many interesting things about the University of New Hampshire that eventually lead to me choosing that school over all of the rest.”

Sarabeth Parent learned about the history of the university. She learned that the school was founded over 100 years ago, in 1866. When it was originally founded, Sarabeth Parent learned that the school was called the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. The school was originally built for the children of farming families, and those that worked in hard labor.

Sarabeth Parent learned that the campus later moved to its current home in Durham in 1893. This was when a prosperous farmer donated a large plot of land to the school in order to help further its development. Sarabeth Parent recalls enjoying that aspect of the school’s history, as she knew it meant so much to the community.

Sarabeth Parent also learned that the school has over 100 majors available, and that it offers a number of special academic opportunities that other schools do not. Sarabeth Parent is proud of her school
