As a young man, Romeo Kison aspired to have a stellar career as a boxer. During his time as an amateur boxer, Romeo Kison became very accomplished and respected within the boxing community. Although he now spends all of his time working with HPM and charity organizations, Romeo Kison still remembers his time as a boxer proudly.

When Romeo Kison was an active amateur boxer, he was also involved in organizing a variety of boxing events in the South Houston area. The boxing community benefited greatly from his willingness to help out with various events. Romeo Kison enjoyed the chance to contribute administratively to the boxing community and he was able to organize a number of particularly memorable events.

Eventually, Romeo Kison reached the point in his amateur where he began to consider turning pro. As a professional, Romeo Kison would have had many remarkable opportunities. Unfortunately, Romeo Kison sustained an injury around this time. With a broken hand, Romeo Kison felt that he was unable to enter the professional boxing arena. Although he was disappointed to cut his career short, Romeo Kison chose to move on to new opportunities.

Even though Romeo Kison’s boxing career ended earlier than hoped, he finished his time as a boxer with an impressive record of 21-0-16. This record continues to inspire awe within the boxing community of South Houston. Romeo Kison is proud to have had such a stellar career as a boxer. “I was sad to leave the world of boxing, but I can’t regret my career shift because I have had so many wonderful opportunities since that time,” comments Romeo Kison. “Through my charity work, I am able to make a real difference in the world.”

Since finishing his boxing career, Romeo Kison has developed a name for himself as a committed philanthropist. Through his work with HPM, Romeo Kison has had opportunities to give significant financial contributions to a wide variety of charitable organizations. In particular, Romeo Kison has a history of working with organizations devoted to medical research, especially in regards to diabetes and bones. Finally, Romeo Kison works regularly with poverty-stricken communities.
