Retired surgeon George Tkalych encourages teens and children to golf as it helps develop brain function, social skills, and great networking relationships.

George Tkalych recently encouraged teens and children to take up golf. He believes it significantly helps develop brain function, social skills, and great networking relationships. It may not seem like a scientific pontification but when you look at the type of reinforcement that golf culture provides to a young mind, it makes a lot of senses. You are giving youth an opportunity to define themselves, learn about ups and downs, compete without aggression and more importantly get outdoors more. In a world of Xbox and PlayStation junkies, Golfing is a breath of fresh air. Vitamin D provided by the sun can do wonders for the skin(in small doses)

Your child will enjoy being outdoors more than sitting in front of a television while learning real life disciplines and lessons that they will take with them everywhere. In Academics, golf can present several scholarship opportunities, and if they are dedicated, the career path is a legitimate gold mine. It's an excellent bonding experience with your family and friends and in the end it's a ton of fun to golf.

One doesn't have to be lean, strong, or fast to play golf. Golf Champions come in all shapes and sizes. Unlike most other sports, you can enjoy golf your entire life, and it's never too early to start. It's also a non-contact sport, so injuries are few and far between. Golf offers a safe environment to learn and be supported. Children can benefit from the relationships and bonds they make with other golfers. Golf is also internationally known for its business relationship development and contributes to strong networking. The beauty of golf is that it's a universal sport played by billions of people across the world.

George Tkalych grew up on the prairies of Saskatchewan. He launched the use of lasers in doing tonsillectomy in the early 1980's and was mentioned in several papers and magazines. He has ventured to the Rockies, Vancouver and Saskatchewan to fish, rock climb and ski. George proudly takes solace in the fact that he has helped ease people's pain and frustrations. Golf happens to be his top choice for stress relief and social time in retired life.

He is a retired Head and Neck Surgeon but proudly spent his life living his dream job, serving others to get them through surgery and medical needs. For more information about George Tkalych visit :-
