Ralph Scozzafava is proud to be celebrating the fact that he has been a successful executive for the last 30 years of his life. During his time as an executive, Ralph Scozzafava has helped many companies grow by producing better results than his predecessors. Today, Ralph Scozzafava lives in St. Louis, Missouri. He was most recently employed by Furniture Brands International. There, Ralph Scozzafava was the Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of the Board for the company.

Ralph Scozzafava began attending the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California in 1982. There, he worked hard to obtain his Bachelors of Science in Marketing. After graduating, Ralph Scozzafava would then begin attending graduate school. Soon he began attending the University of Rhode Island, which is located in Kingston, Rhode Island. In 1986, Ralph Scozzafava would leave the school with a Masters of Business Administration in Finance.

Ralph Scozzafava returned to school when he began attending the Executive Program at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He graduated from the program in 1997. Later still, Ralph Scozzafava would return to school once more. In 2004, he graduated from the Kellogg Management Institute One-Year Graduate Program, which was held by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School in Chicago, Illinois.

After graduating from the University of the Pacific, Ralph Scozzafava would land his first job. In 1982, he became a Retail/Territory Sales Representative for Warner Lambert Company in Morris Plains, New Jersey. After obtaining his Master in Finance, Ralph Scozzafava would be promoted to the position of District Manager, which moved him to Buffalo, New York.

Ralph Scozzafava left that position in 1986. At this point, he would become the Unit Manager for Johnson & Johnson in Boston, Massachusetts. After 2 years in this position, Ralph Scozzafava would become the Regional Sales Manager for Food and Non-Food Brands for the Clorox Company. In 1991, Ralph Scozzafava would see another promotion, as he was moved up to the role of Sales Merchandising Manager.

In 1993, Ralph Scozzafava would see one of his biggest promotions, as he was named the Regional Vice President for St. Ives Laboratories in Los Angeles, California. He held that position until 1996 before moving on to the Campbell Soup Company. He worked for the company from 1996 to 2000, and he held a variety of posts. Ralph Scozzafava started in the position of Director of Sales for the Drug/Convenience Channels. After a year, he would become the Vice President of Special Markets.

In 1998, he would become the Vice President of National Customer Teams before moving on to Grocery Teams a year later. From 2000 to 2002, Ralph Scozzafava worked as the Vice President of Sales and Customer Marketing for WM. Wrigley, Jr. Company. For the next year, he would work as the VP and General Manager. From 2003 to 2006, Ralph Scozzafava would work as the VP and Managing Director. When he left the company in 2007, he was known as the VP of Worldwide Commercial Operations.

Ralph Scozzafava says, “I am excited to have been the CEO of Furniture Brands International. I am proud to have helped the company survive the recent financial crisis and to have successfully restructured the company to ensure its future.”
