National Recovery Solutions LLC is sponsoring the 2015 edition of the John J. Fiore Memorial Golf Tournament this August 8th at the Niagara County Golf Course in Lockport, New York. The annual golf tournament is a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo. The 2014 event raised $22,600 for the Ronald McDonald House, with another four thousand dollars raised for an area family that faced serious medical issues and mounting hospital bills.

The John J. Fiore Memorial Golf Tournament has raised $77,600 over the last five years. Those funds, too, were all provided to the Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo. As the National Recovery Solutions LLC professionals know, the Ronald McDonald House has helped nearly nine million families nationwide since it was established in 1974, helping them with housing through a network of local chapters around the country. The charity is operated with the assistance of more than three hundred thousand volunteers and staff members.

The Mikey's Way Foundation helps children cope with the isolation and boredom associated with life-threatening diseases, and with being stuck in a hospital for extended periods of time. The goal of the foundation is to connect children with their family and friends to help them cope with the hospitalization that they must endure. The Foundation is named for Michael "Mikey" Friedman, who was also its founder, who battled an aggressive form of cancer and spent long periods in the hospital. When he received a wish from the Make a Wish Foundation he decided to share it by going on a shopping spree that bought hand-held game devices for all the kids in the hospital with him. Unfortunately Mikey lost his battle and died in 2008 at the age of nineteen. But the Mikey's Way Foundation allows him to live on in spirit.
