Michael Scott Franklin was raised in West Bloomfield Township Michigan, where he spent most of his formative years and which he considers his hometown. Michael went on to attend Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant Michigan, where he studied business and where he also met his future wife. He was also a member of Alpha Chi Ro fraternity during his time at CMU.
After college, Michael tried his hand at the mortgage business in Chicago Illinois, where he also managed several restaurants. He was very successful in this enterprise, but unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond his control, the business he was working for went under. He had just purchased a loft in Chicago, but was out of a job. Thankfully, Chase bank saw the untapped potential in Michael Scott Franklin and recruited him to be a loan officer at their branch in his beloved Michigan hometown of West Bloomfield Township.
It wasn’t long before Chase bank began to realize what a tremendous asset that Michael Scott Franklin Michigan was to their company. As a senior loan officer, Michael was frequently a top producer. He was also given a Chase star in recognition of his excellent leadership. One customer was so pleased with his service, they wrote a letter to the CEO of Chase, who responded with a personal letter of commendation to Michael for his hard work.
Michael also worked briefly as a Vice President and Branch Manager for Chase where, despite only working in that capacity for a year, he received recognition for his tireless efforts. He led the branch to become the top bank in the region and number 5 out of 69 comparable banks in the United States.
In 2009 Michael became a Relationship Manager, and has since received even more attention for his dedication and excellence in his field. In 2014, he earned the Golden Key on Customer Service with Commercial Client because yet another client wrote a letter to the CEO of Business Banking, exspressing gratitude for Michael’s above and beyond customer service.
Michael Scott Franklin continues to show that he stands out for his dedication to his job and his clients at the Chase bank in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.
