Michael Milnes is a hard-working and dedicated physical therapist in the Rochester, MN area. He opened his practice 18 years ago, starting out by making house calls because of his lack of office space. Since then, he has expanded to an entire historic Victorian home, built in 1894, and built an extensive client list that continues to grow. He has even gained some local fame after receiving the ‘Best in Rochester’ physical therapy as voted by the readers of the Rochester Bulletin in 2008 and 2013.

All of this added business has overwhelmed the one man show and Michael Milnes is looking for another physical therapist and an office manager to add to his team. He believes this change will help his business continue to grow and will just add to the high level of client service his patients have come to expect.

“I need some help to handle the increase clients. I don’t want to have to turn anyone that needs help away but I can’t take anymore clients without another therapist to help. Having someone to handle the back end processes is becoming more and more necessary, it is a full time job just going back and forth with the insurance companies.” Michael Milnes said in a recent interview about the expansion.

Along with adding staff, the building will be getting upgraded too. Milnes is reportedly converting more of the unused spaces to clinic rooms and offices for consultation and waiting rooms. This will make clients more comfortable and give the employees more space to work. He is excited to make the changes and add on to the clinic. Milnes sees a bright future for his once home-based business.

“It just goes to show that if you have a good plan, work hard, don’t give up, and are honest with people, you can achieve the American dream.” Michael Milnes stated. He is excited about the future and will be interviewing soon for the added positions to his business. He is looking for local candidates that love the community and are dedicated to helping others. He says it is important that his employees share the same vision as he does if they are going to be part of the business.
