Matthew Scott began his artistic career very early on in Junior High School after he was gifted a guitar by a family member. He began taking private lessons, where he discovered that he had a natural talent for the instrument and many others, as it turned out. He is also an accomplished piano, drums and ukulele player. One of the greatest joys of his career is listening to how his audiences respond to the different timbre of individual instruments, the connotations that they carry deeply inside themselves.

In his free time, Matthew Scott of Milton, Massachusetts deeply enjoys restoring antique cars, a hobby that was passed down to him from his father. As a child, they would often work together in the garage to rebuild an engine, tear out old upholstery, help the neighbor with an oil change and occasionally a full restoration project. This was one of the instances in which Matthew Scott began practicing photography, taking before and after projects of the hard work that he and his dad had completed. This proved to be one of the pivotal collections of childhood memories that inform his current artistic success.
