Mark Schwartz has been working in the fashion design industry for over thirty years. Over the years he has worked with several legendary designers such as Roger Vivier, Hermes, and Christian LaCroix. In 1982, after working with Roger Vivier for two years, Mark became the creative director for Roger Vivier International. Through this experience Mark was able to gain the knowledge of the industry that he would need when he later started his own business in 1995.

Mark began simply as a shoe designer, but with the encouragement of Andy Warhol, he also began painting the shoes he had designed. Over the years Mark has found that while doing art gallery shows can be useful, most of his art has been sold from word of mouth and through online means. In 2012 an article posted on brandyoubetter.com Mark Schwartz Tampa gives an example of one of these instances saying, “I designed shoes for Oprah Winfrey a few years back, and someone from her office came to pick them up at my studio. They saw my artwork and told her about it. That led to a sale of four painting that she gave as gifts.”

Mark Schwartz Tampa has designed several unique collections of shoes for several other celebrities including; Julia Roberts, Sharon Stone, Lady Gaga, and Katie Couric. His shoes have also made their way on to several fashion runways including Paris, New York, and Milan. His works have also been featured in several high-end fashion magazines such as Vogue, W, and Elle. Mark has recently returned to Tampa after working with two Italian shoemakers in Parabiago, Italy. Upon his return, he announced that he will be launching a new line of custom shoe bags in June 2015. These shoe bags will come in five different patterns and can easily be pre-order on his website.
