A golf pro is someone who makes money teaching or playing golf, as the title clearly implies. The person may be the manager of a club, resort, or a golf coach and tutoring professional. There are great avenues for a person to a make good living through the game of golf.

In two of the eight years that he spent as the Head Coach of the men's golf team at Michigan State University, he was awarded the Big Ten Conference Coach of the Year award.
