Marisa Conoscenti earned her certification as a sunless airbrush technician from the National Tanning Training Institute on August 8, 2012. The NTTI provides training for tanning salon owners and operators. Marisa Conoscenti chose to earn her certification as a sunless airbrush technician because she knows that it is a safer way to tan than sun bathing or going to a tanning booth.

The National Tanning Training Institute is always exploring new ways to enhance traditional tanning methods. Through the use of sunless tanning, salons now have the potential to expand to new customers who would not choose to get a traditional UV tan from a tanning bed.

During her training, Marisa Conoscenti learned that the concept of sunless tanning was introduced in the 1960s, but during the last 10 years the methods of creating a healthy glowing tan without the use of UV rays have improved significantly.

The courses that Marisa Conoscenti attended while attending National Tanning Training Institute instructed her in every aspect from setup to application of sunless airbrush tanning. She learned all of the new safety procedures and different techniques for creating beautiful glowing skin.
