Lora Schwacke is an individual who genuinely cares about the future of the people around her. She is currently serving as a substitute teacher for both middle school and high school students through the Waldwick Board of Education, and has been for the last six years. Although she has only been working for this particular organization for just over half a decade, she retired from her career as a Certified Public Accountant in 2004 in order to pursue her dreams of becoming an educator.

However, when Lora Schwacke isn’t working to further the knowledge of her middle and high school students, she can be found instructing expectant mothers on the important facts regarding natural childbirth. She is a certified instructor, and teaches the Bradley Method, which is a patented 12-week course that covers everything expectant parents need to know in regards to their natural birthing plan. She has been teaching new parents for years, and is dedicated to helping them get the information they need to support a healthy child.

One of the most important aspects of childbirth is prenatal care. This becomes especially true when a mother decides to take the natural approach to birth because so many things that happen with the nine-month pregnancy can play a role in the birth itself. One of the most important things she advocates to mothers is exercise. Exercise can help make mom stronger, more flexible, and ultimately more physically prepared for the task ahead.

Exercise, though, can be extremely difficult during pregnancy. This may be truer for some rather than others, but it makes finding the right exercise routine more than difficult. Yoga is a great way to stay in shape during pregnancy because there are a number of teachers who have built entire classes around birthing preparation postures. These will make your pelvic area more flexible, your core stronger, and ultimately, your mind calmer for the sake of the baby.

Swimming is also another great way to stay in shape during pregnancy because the water offers a soft resistance on the body with out adding any impact force on your movements. Even walking around the shallow end of the pool can help you prepare for childbirth in the near future.
