Laura Motes stays busy and lives a fast-paced lifestyle, but that is the way she likes it. She has many interests and is currently enrolled as a full-time student. She hopes to obtain a degree in nursing and has already completed all of the necessary prerequisites. She has applied for the Master's program at Georgia Regents University and will begin in the fall of 2016 if she is accepted into the program

isn’t busy with school, she likes to live a healthy lifestyle. She exercises often and makes it a point to eat right. Some of her favorite physical activities that help her stay in shape include kayaking, 5k races, trail running, and adventure racing. These activities not only challenge her mentally and physically and keep her in shape but also allow her to spend time outdoors and be competitive.

Being a college student can be stressful and there are many activities that Laura enjoys that help her relax and unwind. She has always loved animals and enjoys bird watching. She feeds birds, squirrels, chipmunks, possums, raccoon, and other small animals in her yard and likes observing predatory birds in action, especially hawks. She also loves dogs, especially rat terriers, Chihuahuas, dachshunds, German shepherds. She cares about rescue animals and tries to help as many as possible. She also supports the ASPCA.

Laura Motes is great at multitasking and has learned to balance her school work and her personal life and hobbies. She learned to multitask while working at the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, where she was employed for over 21 consecutive years. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and believes that people over 40 need to stay active and makes it a point to be a good example and motivate others. She looks forward to becoming a nurse so she can help even more people improve their health.

Laura Motes may stay busy, but she is determined and passionate about succeeding in life. She is excited to change careers and while she is still very interested in law enforcement she is excited to become a nurse and challenge herself in a new career field.
